This can be LED lighting, renewable energy or solar panels.<\/p>\n<p>If you are using the EIA,  it cuts both ways: you will save on fixed costs by using LED lighting and solar panels. But you can also get tax benefits because of investing in sustainable resources.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<h2>How does the EIA work?<\/h2>\n<p>If you invest in energy saving equipment than you are eligible for this tax deduction. Your company then is allowed to\u00a0<strong>deduct 45% of the investment<\/strong>\u00a0from your fiscal profit. You will pay less income tax. The net subsidy benefit at 25% income tax is 11,25%.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<h2>What are the terms of the EIA?<\/h2>\n<p>There are of course a number of conditions set by the Dutch government to qualify for the EIA:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your company is taxable in the Netherlands<\/li>\n<li>The minimal amount invested is 2500 euros<\/li>\n<li>The invested products are within the product groups of the Energy List that year.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rvo.nl\/sites\/default\/files\/2019\/12\/70075_RVO_Energielijst_2020-def.pdf\">Energy list 2020<\/a><\/li>\n<li>You must send your application within 3 months via the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mijn.rvo.nl\/energie-investeringsaftrek-eia\">eLoket<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In 2020, the EIA for LED lighting is extended for five years until at least 2025. The total budget in 2020 for the EIA is \u20ac 147.000.000 (147 million euros).<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<h2>Requirements for LED spots lighting<\/h2>\n<p>Of course there are a number of requirements that the new LED spotlights lighting must meet:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lumen per Watt is higher than 110<\/li>\n<li>Powerfactor must be at least 0,90<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For all the above LED lights, \u20ac 25 per 1,000 lumens will be eligible for EIA.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<div aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<h2>Requirements for LED TL lighting<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>LED TL tubes must be<\/strong>\u00a0at least 130 Lumen per Watt<\/li>\n<li>They must use an external driver<\/li>\n<li>Powerfactor must be at least 0,90<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the LED TL lights above, \u20ac 20 per LED tube will be eligible for EIA.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Requirements for other LED lighting<\/h2>\n<p>Of course there are a number of requirements that the new LED lighting must meet:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lumen per Watt is higher than 125<\/li>\n<li>Powerfactor must be at least 0,90<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For all the above LED lights, \u20ac 25 per 1,000 lumens will be eligible for EIA.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<h2>Example<\/h2>\n<p>Your fiscal profit in 2020 is \u20ac 1.000.000. Income tax is 20% till \u20ac 200.000 and 25% above \u20ac 200.000. The income tax is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u20ac 200.000 x 20% = \u20ac 40.000<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac 620.000 x 25% = \u20ac 155.000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Total of \u20ac 195.000 income tax.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>net benefit is \u20ac 45.000<\/strong>, which is 11,25% in this example.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EIA \u2013 Energie Investeringsaftrek voor LED verlichting in 2020 Wat is de EIA ?
