Expansion subsidy energy saving own home from April

On April 4, 2018 the Subsidy energy saving own home changes. This means higher subsidy rates, longer implementing terms and new additional measures. For Homeowners Association, the subsidy budget for taking measures increases to 12 million euros. There will also be 100 euros available for energy display or smart thermostat.

HOA's were already receiving grants for energy advice if the association decides to implement energy saving measures based on that advice within a year. The execution time for taking energy saving measures is now extended to five years. Homeowners associations now can also apply for a grant (up to € 2,480) if the association takes no decision in response to the received energy advice.

If an Hoa decides to use the energy advice or to carry out, then there must be a minimum of 2 energy measures taken. The execution time to do this is to be extended from 12 months to 5 years. The execution time for the extremely energy-efficient package is being extended from 12 to 24 months.
